Black Swan International (BSI) is actively following medical advice to ensure that we are contributing to slowing the spread of COVID-19. Whilst millions of workers worldwide are working from home during these uncertain times, we are committed to delivering essential services to our clients and country. Our management team in conjunction with our QWHSE team have been monitoring health advice nationally and internationally to ensure we keep our clients, staff and guards safe.

Our people remain our primary focus, and we are providing a sanitised workplace for those still required in the office and on site. BSI has implemented social distancing where appropriate, increased cleaning services, incorporated temperature checks at the commencement of shift and ensured all equipment and tools are being sanitised appropriately.

Our staff on site and in the office are being issued personal protective equipment (PPE) to mitigate the spread and possibility of contracting the flu like symptoms of COVID-19. Like most businesses across Papua New Guinea, we are providing our staff with accurate and validated information as it becomes available. We are committed to being transparent with our staff and clients in the provision of information that may be helpful in decision-making.

There is no clear-cut method on stopping the spread of COVID-19, however like most companies we must all contribute in flattening the curve nationally. We have developed and implemented a business continuity plan to ensure we can help our clients get through these challenging times. We understand that there is going to be hard decisions made, lessening opportunities available and hardship felt; however, BSI are committed to working together to get our economy and nation moving again. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing team of professionals who are working around the clock performing essential work to support our clients and each other.
