ALLEGATIONS OF SECURITY ACCESS CONTROL RESTRICTIONS AS CAUSE OF DEATH TO MINOR

Black Swan International (BSI) is aware of a story circulated on social media, and one national news outlet, concerning the involvement of a guard in the death of an infant allegedly denied access to Port Moresby General Hospital on 24 July 2020. An investigation is ongoing; however, to date, no evidence has been produced to substantiate the claims nor do any witnesses’ testimonies corroborate the allegations raised. No formal claims have been received by the Police or PMGH. BSI takes allegations of this nature seriously and will take all available and appropriate measures to protect the integrity of our Company and the wellbeing of our staff.
